And Rue Daisuke?

A possible Red Sox pitcher whose name is pronounced "Dice Cay." I always did want to beat the 'ell out of Dice Clay. Maybe the Red Sox are marketing directly to me.

Comments:
Actually, I've heard and read that it's "Dice-keh."

Hickory dickory dock. Dice wasn't the end of the world, it was a funny routine seeing everyone get all in a twist about his "routine," but his act just wasn't that great beyond the gimmick.

That was a character- he wasn't like that. Sort of Borat-esque.

I almost brought up that whole angle, but decided to leave it as it was. I can usually count on you to fill in the parts I leave out. I remember it like it was yesterday. Dice talking about the Nora Dunn boycott deal, saying "It was a character. Their show is about characters. What's the problem?"

The problem was it was so far from satire. What percentage of his fans do you think are guys who really feel the way he (his character) felt about women? It's gotta be like 80%.

Either way, the Jere character wants to beat the 'ell out of the Dice Clay character. And I'm sure the real versions of us could debate his character and its effects on society in a non-violent fashion.

And, I've heard and read it's Dice-Kay. Which I wrote Dice Cay for the sake of the joke. In fact, on EEI a few days ago, they were saying was I thought was "Dice Clay." I had no idea what they were talking about. (because it was out of context at the time.)

Either way. The Japanese guy. Die-something.

No matter how it's pronounced, Remy will mispronounce it, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Yea, I mean, it was a character, but I didn't mean to suggest it was a good one or well done in any way.

He sort of reminds me of how I react to like, fratboys that say they "absolutely LOVE 'A Clockwork Orange,' man." That always freaks me out.

I don't want you to think I don't support kicking Dice Clay's ass. Also, I've always loved Nora Dunn. Cool lady. No bullshit about her.

I understand. I'm glad you brought up the part I left out. It's good to talk about.

Dunn does rule, huh? The freakin' Sweeney Sisters, come on. Awesome.

And no, that three-sentence post wasn't my big DM post. I'm writing it now.
